Sam has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industries, spanning broadcasting, theatrical, distribution, and sports. She began her career at The Walt Disney Company, before holding roles at MTV, ESPN, and Sony Pictures where she also chaired the Gender Equality group.

Most recently Sam served as Chief Financial Officer at Racecourse Media Group and is currently the Finance Director of the Nations at the BBC, contributing her financial expertise to support the corporation's ambitions across the nations and regions. Her varied career reflects adaptability and a strong foundation in media finance and leadership, and a steadfast commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity.
