Chineke! Orchestra is part of the online Live from London festival for Summer 2021!
Live from London runs from 4 July until 22 August, and features a whole host of phenomenal artists in a programme curated by VOCES8:
The King’s Singers, Chineke!, Suzi Digby’s ORA Singers, a star quartet of Julian Bliss, Jack Liebeck, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Katya Apekisheva, Mary Bevan, Zeb Soanes, the London Contemporary Orchestra and Robert Ames. Special concerts coming from the International Choral Biennale ‘Live From Haarlem’ include Cappella Amsterdam and the Doelen Ensemble, Consensus Vocalis, Laurens Collegium, Efterklang and the South Denmark Girls’ Choir. Returning favourites include I Fagiolini, Apollo5 and the English Chamber Orchestra.

Descend to Earth
We are thrilled that the Chineke! Orchestra will perform as part of LIVE from London. The programme includes music by Mendelssohn, British composer Philip Herbert and Nigerian Fela Sowande. Chineke! Will be joined by VOCES8 in music by Cuban baroque composer Esteban Salas as well as premieres of new orchestrations of choral music previously heard in LIVE from London festivals by Ken Burton.
