The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2020

Chineke! Foundation is delighted to report that we have succeeded in reaching our fundraising goal in the week-long Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign!

Thanks to our incredibly generous donors, we raised a grand total of £41,280, overshooting our original target of £40,000. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, and also acknowledge Presto Music, our pledge funders and our champion funder, The Reed Foundation.

This year has been the most successful fundraising year of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, which generated more than £20,000,000 in online match-funded donations for more than 750 charities. In what has been a very hard year for everyone, this makes every donation all the more extraordinary.

We offer our congratulations to all the other charities who also took part in the campaign, and we hope we can build a brighter future thanks to the generosity of the public.

We look forward to sharing the impact of this donation on our Learning & Participation programme activities in 2021, as well as our planned Chineke! Junior Orchestra residency.
